Alex Mascot Ikwechegh who
was a former chairman of Aba North local government in Abia Sate at the age of 28 (the youngest person ever to hold such office) is a business mogul, a philanthropist and a seasoned politician.
Concerned with the dilapidated state of public buildings in his community, Mr Alexander Mascot Ikwechegh has embarked on massive humanitarian efforts geared towards making life and living easier for his people.
Top on the list of these are the renovation and construction of Igbere Secondary School office blocks and classrooms which are almost completed.Also not left out are the reconstruction of the first Igbere NEPA Office and the Igbere Cash Office. These offices now wear new looks of restored vibrancy. All thanks to this good hearted and vibrant young leader of noble generosity who has donated nothing less than N50, 000,000 (Fifty Million Naira) for the successful renovation, reconstruction and completion of these projects in Igbere. Worthy of note is the fact that both the Igbere NEPA and Cash Offices were built and donated to the people of Igbere in 1989 by his parents – Chief & Lolo Mascot Ukandu Ikwechegh..
