Suspect pickpockets policewoman during arrest for pickpocketing

28-year-old Deji Ayoola was being investigated by officers of the Lagos State Police Command in Alausa when a sum of N1,200 belonging to a policewoman fell out of her pocket and the suspect allegedly picked and hid it.

The incident occurred when Deji was being taken in after he reportedly stole a wallet containing the sum of N14,500 which belongs to one Ayodele Akerele in a crowded place.

Lagos Police PRO, Dolapo Badmos, confirming the incident said that the suspect has been transferred to the Lagos State Task Force on Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit for prosecution.
